Whatever the White House has said about withdrawing from Afghanistan by August 31 is completely untrue. In fact, according to Brett Baier of Fox News, they are pulling out in 72 hours and anyone left behind is “on their own.”
In a shocking report by Brett Baier of Fox News, according to sources on the ground, there is a “U.S. citizen only policy in play” and the US is “refusing to take any more Afghan locals.”
“Once August 31st hits they will help nobody else, US or Afghan get through the Taliban checkpoints,” Baier said. Anyone not out by that time will be left behind regardless of anything Jen Psaki or the White House said earlier today.
“The US is expediting the withdrawal and wants to be out within 72 hours and anybody left is on their own.” Baier reported.
“President Biden disregarding all sound military advice, it is expected that he will continue to push ahead and ignore the military,” Baier said. Either today or tomorrow, according to sources on the ground, they believe the airport gates will be sealed.”
Earlier in the day, White House Press Secretary, Jen Psaki balked at Fox News reporter Peter Doocy’s question as to whether it was the White House’s official position that there are no stranded American’s in Afghanistan.
“I’m just calling you out for saying that we are stranding Americans in Afghanistan, when I – when we have been very clear that we are not leaving Americans who want to return home,” Psaki said. “We are going to bring them home. And I think that’s important for the American public to hear and understand.”
Biden even went before America stating “We are currently on pace to finish by August 31st.”
He went on to say that completion by that date is Taliban dependent because apparently what had been the greatest military in the world is no match for terrorist hoodlims. “Each day of operations brings added risk to our troops, but the completion by August 31st depends upon the Taliban continuing to cooperate, allow access to the airport for those who we’re transporting out, and no disruptions to our operations,” Biden said.
He did indicated that he was preparing contingency plans but no where in his press conference did he indicate they were already in play.
“In addition, I’ve asked the Pentagon and the State Department for contingency plans to adjust the timetable should that become necessary,” Biden stated.
“I’m determined to ensure that we complete our mission, this mission,” he said.
Apparently the objective of the mission has changed. No longer is America pushing back against the Taliban to get ALL of our people out but instead turning tail and running as fast as possible, leaving behind Americans and all who helped our country over the past 20 years.
Biden has botched this from the beginning. He is a weak coward who serves no American. Our hearts bleed for those left behind and for our military service men and women who sacrificed so much to have this be the outcome.
Let’s hope Baier’s sources got it wrong…
